Teacher of Humanities ( FTE) Start date: Mid-January 2026 Contract: Part-time maternity coverWe are seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Humanities Teacher to join a high-performing comprehensive school from mid-January 2026. This FTE maternity cover role is suitable for both Early Career Teachers and experienced educators.About the School You will be joining a large, successful 11–18 comprehensive with: Strong outcomes at GCSE and A Level across a broad humanities curriculum A thriving sixth form of almost 300 students A well-established reputation for academic success and inclusive pastoral support A community-orientated ethos with strong links to the local area The school is regularly recognised in national performance tables for its academic achievement and progress. The school is located within easy commuting distance of Bristol, Gloucester and the wider South West.The Role You will teach Humanities across Key Stages 3 and 4, contributing to a curriculum that encourages students to explore historical, geographical, social and cultural perspectives.
