Operating across the West of England and South Wales, they deliver safe, sustainable, and high-quality solutions to both the private and public sectors - including major partnerships with local authorities and leading developers in the new-build housing market.With over 220 employees and ambitious plans for further expansion, this is an excellent opportunity join the business at a pivotal time.This is a predominantly office-based role in South Bristol, but can offer 1 day a week WFH, and is paying £40,000-£50,000 DOE.The RoleReporting directly to the HR Director, the HR Generalist will play a key role in delivering the full HR operational remit across a growing and geographically diverse workforce.This is a hands-on role where you'll be involved in everything from onboarding and employee relations to policy development and benefits administration. You'll also have the opportunity to contribute strategically, driving initiatives that enhance engagement, culture, and retention.Jeff Way is looking for someone proactive, personable, and confident - an HR professional who can build strong relationships across multiple offices, get to know the business and its people, and bring fresh ideas to the table.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport the HR Director in delivering the full HR function across 220+ employeesManage the full employee lifecycle: onboarding, offboarding, contracts, and benefitsHandle employee relations matters, ensuring fair and consistent outcomesMaintain HR systems and ensure compliance with employment legislationPartner with line managers on performance management and development plansSupport recruitment and workforce planning activitiesLead or contribute to HR projects that improve engagement and business performanceBuild relationships across Jeff Way's four key locations - Bristol, Newport, Neath, and Knowle ParkPerson SpecificationYou'll be a great fit if you are:A hands-on HR professional with a collaborative, can-do approachComfortable managing day-to-day HR operations while contributing strategicallyProactive, organised, and confident working independentlyA strong communicator who enjoys building trusted relationshipsExperienced in HR generalist roles (ideally 3+ years)CIPD Level 3 or 5 qualified (or equivalent experience)Experience in a construction or field-based environment would be advantageous.What's on OfferSalary: £40,000 - £50,000 DOERobert Half Ltd acts as an employment business for temporary positions and an employment agency for permanent positions.
