What's on offer Competitive salary up to £55,000 (DOE) Bonus scheme Company car or car allowance Healthcare, life cover and contributory pension Monday to Friday, 9-5pm Optional hybrid working to be discussed The role As Buyer, you'll play a key role within the commercial team - sourcing and ordering materials, ensuring best value, and supporting the smooth delivery of multiple developments at any one time. You'll work closely with Site and Contract Managers to keep projects on track and ensure materials arrive on time and within budget. Key responsibilities Schedule and procure materials for multiple live and upcoming developments Calculate and order bulk materials such as bricks, blocks and tiles Monitor regional stock levels to avoid shortages or overordering Prepare and submit material cost budgets and reports Liaise closely with site teams to resolve material issues quickly and efficiently Ensure all group deals and procurement procedures are followed About you Experienced Buyer within a housebuilding or construction environment Confident communicator with strong negotiation and organisational skills Proficient in Excel (COINS experience a distinct advantage) Self-motivated, methodical and adaptable with a hands-on approach Full UK driving licence essential This is a great opportunity to join a successful, forward-thinking developer that values quality, teamwork and professional growth.
