Position: Full-Time SEN Teaching AssistantLocation: Wednesbury Position Type: Full-time (Monday – Friday, 8:30am – 3:30pm) Pay: From £89 per day Start Date: December 2025 We are looking to recruit a committed SEN Teaching Assistant to work within an all-age school in Wednesbury (WS10). This role would suit someone patient, reliable, and genuinely passionate about helping pupils with additional needs reach their full potential. You will be supporting students across different age groups, offering either 1:1 support or working with small groups of learners with varying SEN. As this is an all-age setting, some pupils may require personal care, so applicants must feel comfortable providing this when needed. This is a full-time, long-term position, with the option to become permanent for the right person. Key Responsibilities: • Provide tailored 1:1 and small-group support to pupils with a range of SEN • Assist pupils with academic tasks, social skills, and emotional well-being • Support pupils’ independence, including personal care where required • Contribute to and follow Individual Education Plans (IEPs) • Work closely with class teachers, SENCOs, and the wider staff team • Help maintain a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment Requirements: • Experience working in a school is preferred; care experience will also be considered • Previous experience supporting children with SEN or vulnerable individuals is essential • Full-time availability (Monday to Friday) • A calm, patient, and flexible attitude when supporting pupils of different ages • Strong communication and teamworking skills • A DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one If you are seeking a rewarding position where you can make a meaningful difference to pupils across a range of ages, we encourage you to apply INDMIDIf you are interested, then please click on the apply button and contact Sofina Ashiq on 0121 827 2030 l Ext: 4008.If you are not interested in this role but know someone else who might be, don't forget that we offer £50 in shopping vouchers if you refer a friend to us and we place them in the job.
