Job Title: BuyerLocation: Paddock Wood, Kent Pay: £17 - £18.90 per hourContract Details: Temp To Perm, Full TimeHours: 35hrs per week Early finish on fridaysResponsibilities: Interpret the company's requirement plan to generate or amend order covers. Progress purchase orders to ensure on-time customer delivery. analyse buying patterns and predict trends, managing stock levels effectively. Meet and assess suppliers to ensure quality and negotiate favourable contract terms.️ Maintain strong relationships with existing suppliers, addressing quality issues promptly. Secure long-term cost agreements with suppliers and identify new opportunities. Review purchase agreements to ensure cost-effectiveness and quality. Initiate cost-down programmes with the Supply Chain Manager.️ Maintain accurate electronic and manual systems for procurement. Report performance data for vendor management. Collaborate with accounts staff for financial data related to procurement.️ Serve as SAP Super User for the Purchasing function.
