Job Title: Senior Buyer - Temp to PermLocation: Paddock WoodPay: £19.00 - £21.95 per hour / Upto 40k salary once permanent Contract Details: Full-Time | Temp to PermResponsibilities:Join our client's Purchasing Department as a Senior Buyer and play a pivotal role in ensuring the company's purchasing requirements are met with precision Your key responsibilities will include:Collaborating with the purchasing team to ensure timely project completion.Covering day-to-day purchasing duties in the absence of the Supply Chain Manager.Assisting in annual budget preparations and providing valuable insights on capital expenditures.Overseeing the materials requirement plan for accuracy and timeliness.analysing market conditions and managing stock levels effectively.Meeting and assessing suppliers, negotiating contract terms, and conducting site visits.Maintaining strong relationships with existing suppliers and mentoring junior team members.Securing long-term cost agreements and managing supply contracts.Conducting audits of suppliers to ensure quality and efficiency.Supporting cost-reduction programmes and maintaining system data accuracy in SAP.Are you ready to take the lead in purchasing?About You:To thrive in this role, you should possess:CIPS qualification and extensive purchasing knowledge.Strong negotiation skills and the ability to work independently or collaboratively.High attention to detail with a knack for prioritising tasks.Experience with SAP and excellent leadership abilities.If you are adaptable, proactive, and eager to improve processes, we want to hear from you Why Join Us?Our client values respect, communication, teamwork, recognition, and quality.
