You will contribute to the academic and personal growth of students while upholding each school’s values and ethos.Key Responsibilities: Plan, prepare, and deliver dynamic English lessons in line with the national curriculum. Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to support achievement. Manage classroom behavior to create a positive and inclusive learning environment. Collaborate with colleagues to develop schemes of work and share best practices. Contribute to extracurricular activities, such as literacy clubs or school productions. About You We are looking for enthusiastic individuals with a strong passion for English and education. The following qualifications and attributes are sought: Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Early Career Teacher (ECT) status is preferred. Schools will also consider strong subject specialists with a relevant degree in English or a related field, even if unqualified. Experience: Experience teaching English at secondary level is desirable butyourself, but not essential for ECTs or unqualified teachers. Skills: Excellent communication, organizational, and classroom management skills. Attributes: Creative, adaptable, and committed to fostering a love of learning in students. Desirable: Knowledge of GCSE and A-Level English curricula and assessment frameworks.
