Quantity Surveyor Salary: £60,000–£70,000 Package (DOE)Project Value: £130m Major SchemeLocation: Bristol Area We are recruiting a Quantity Surveyor to join a leading main contractor delivering a major £130m construction project based in the Bristol region. This is a fantastic opportunity for a commercially driven QS looking to step into a key project role with long-term progression. Key Responsibilities:• Manage day-to-day commercial activities on a major live project• Subcontract procurement, packages, and negotiations• Cost planning, forecasting, and budget management• CVRs, valuations, variations, and payment applications• Work closely with the Commercial Lead and Project Leadership team• Ensure contractual compliance and support risk management• Build strong relationships with subcontractors and project stakeholders Requirements:• Experience as a Project QS (or strong Assistant QS ready to step up)• Main contractor background preferred• Strong knowledge of JCT• Proven experience on large-scale construction projects• Ability to manage commercial responsibilities with autonomy• Strong communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills What’s on Offer:• £60–£70k package (DOE)• Exposure to a flagship £130m scheme• Long-term career development with a respected contractor• Supportive commercial team and structured progression If you're a motivated Quantity Surveyor looking for your next long-term major project, please apply with your CV.
