The role offers a chance to work within a supportive, well-staffed practice, with a manageable patient workload, averaging 15 appointments per session.Key Responsibilities:Provide high-quality care to a diverse patient populationManage routine consultations (mix of face-to-face and telephone appointments)Participate in occasional home visits if required (minimal)Collaborate with the wider clinical team, including Nurse Practitioners and HCAsJoin in regular, informal team meetings for clinical supportHelp ensure appointments are booked with the most appropriate clinicianIdeal Candidate:We are looking for a motivated, patient-centered GP who thrives in a supportive team environment. The ideal candidate will have:Experience or interest in working in a rural settingA commitment to high standards of patient careStrong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary teamPractice Benefits:£12,800 per session salary6 weeks of annual leave1 week of CPD supportNHS PensionMDU and BMA fees paidMaternity/Paternity Pay in line with BMA guidelinesOnsite parkingTraining Practice with opportunities to developAbout the Team:You will be working alongside a supportive team of 5 partners, 7 salaried GPs, a clinical lead, nurse practitioners, nurses, HCAs, and a paramedic. The team is friendly, approachable, and committed to delivering excellent patient care. Additional Information:Patient Demographic: Mostly affluent, with many young families and professionals moving to the area due to new housing developmentsClinical Support: Clinical team includes Nurse Practitioners, Nurses, and HCAs with a paramedic for additional supportDuty Doctor: The role includes sharing responsibility for occasional duty doctor sessions, with triage support from our float GPNo Partnership Buy-In Required: As the practice doesn't own the building, there's no requirement for a costly buy-in
