PRU Behaviour Support Assistant – South Tyneside Pay: £89 to £110 per day Start: ASAP Contract: Full-time, long-termIf you’re the person who stays calm when everyone else slows down, you’ll fit right into this role.We’re supporting a pupil referral setting in South Tyneside that works with young people who’ve had a tough time in mainstream. The team focuses on safety, respect and restorative relationships. Learning comes after trust, and trust comes from calm, steady adults who don’t take things personally.What your day may look like: • Supporting young people 1:1 and in small groups • Helping them regulate emotions and rebuild routines • Modelling calm, consistent behaviour no matter the situation • Using restorative conversations to repair relationships • Celebrating progress, even when it’s tinyYou’ll shine if you: • Have experience in SEMH, youth work, mentoring or behaviour settings • Stay grounded when things get challenging • Believe young people deserve second, third and fourth chances • Build trust with humour, patience and real understandingWith Protocol Education you get: • Weekly PAYE pay • FREE Thrive training • FREE SEMH and de-escalation CPDIf you want a role where relationships genuinely change lives, this is it.All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
