This is an exciting opportunity to manage a varied client portfolio, play a key role in delivering outstanding client service, and guide a supportive and motivated team.With continual professional development, tailored training, and clear opportunities for progression, this is an excellent chance to grow your career with a firm that truly invests in its people.What is on Offer:Competitive salary based on experience and qualifications.Generous holiday entitlement, starting at 28 days and increasing with length of service.Company pension scheme with employer contributions.Flexible working hours to support work-life balance.Discount and wellbeing platform with a wide range of perks.Your responsibilities as a Practice Accountant include:Managing a portfolio of clients, ensuring timely and accurate completion of financial statements and tax returns.Preparing year-end accounts for limited companies, partnerships, charities, and sole traders.Supporting and reviewing the work of junior staff, providing coaching and feedback.Attending client meetings and maintaining strong client relationships.Preparing VAT schedules, corporation tax computations, and tax returns.Contributing to workflow planning and resource allocation within the team.Ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and firm policies.To be considered for this Practice Accountant role, you should have:An ACA or ACCA qualification (newly qualified or recently qualified).Previous experience within a UK accountancy practice environment.Full driving licence and ability to travel to client sites when required.This is a fantastic opportunity for a newly qualified accountant to take the next step in their career within a dynamic and supportive practice.
