Sales & Retention Manager - Leisure Trust - Luton £27,975+ excellent benefitsWe are looking for a Sales & Retention Manager to drive membership and participation across several fitness, swimming and sports centres whilst enhancing the customer journey to retain customers.You would be working for a progressive Leisure Trust whose mission is to increase the health, fitness and activity levels of all the residents of Luton regardless of their background so there is great purpose behind this role.Key responsibilities:Plan and deliver in-reach and outreach activities to generate new leads for the centres, build partnerships with local corporates and community groups.Lead a small team of sales consultants, ensuring they are trained to follow a clear sales process and can deliver on KPI's set to hit weekly and monthly targets.Manage the prospect and member database to ensure customers take advantage of all they have to offer.Follow up renewals and act on customer feedback to maximise retention.Work collaboratively with key stakeholders to contribute to the overall marketing strategy, the products and services they offer and ensure they offer a seamless customer experience at every touchpoint.The Ideal person.An outgoing self-starter, able to work under one's own initiative.Proven track record in achieving sales targets.Experience in developing and leading outreach activity, ideally within a health and fitness environment, possibly as a Senior Sales Consultant, Sales Manager, Assistant Manager or Club Manager.Team leadership experience as a supervisor, trainer or managerA demonstrable passion for health and fitness and improving the health and wellness of the whole communityCan reliably commute to Luton daily.Benefits25 days annual leave plus Bank Holidays, increasing to 3 days after 5-years' service.Opportunity to buy extra holiday.Contributory pension.Year on year basic salary increase.Ongoing investment into your professional development with additional qualifications and courses.Free swimming and off-peak gym membership.Discounted golf, sports hire and food and drinkCycle to work scheme.Employee assistance programme.Working for a supportive, inclusive, fun organisation with a genuine purpose to improve the health and wellbeing of the communities they serve.
