Role & Responsibilities Lead and manage small to medium fire engineering projects, taking ownership of deliverables Produce fire safety strategies, technical reports, and performance-based design solutions Provide technical advice to clients, design teams, and authorities having jurisdiction Participate in design team meetings and site inspections Support junior engineers and graduates, contributing to their development Stay up to date with UK fire safety legislation, guidance, and industry best practices Required Skills & Experience Degree qualified in Fire Engineering (BEng/BSc/MSc) and ideally working towards Chartered status Practical experience delivering fire engineering solutions for UK projects Strong knowledge of UK legislation, guidance, and design standards Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to manage multiple projects and work collaboratively in a team environment UK driving licence preferred but not essential Applicants must have the right to work in the UK (sponsorship not available) What you get back Salary £42,000 – £50,000 per annum 4.5-day working week (Friday afternoons off) 28 days annual leave including public holidays (option to purchase up to 5 additional days) Paid leave over Christmas and New Year Private healthcare including 24hr GP and counsellor access Paid professional memberships (e.g., IFE, IFSM) Cycle to work scheme and potential green car scheme Company laptop, mobile phone, and IT equipment Supportive office environment with a close-knit team and scenic beachfront location
