We are looking for an experienced Head of Quality Assurance to lead the way in process improvement and product integrity, supporting safety, legality and quality of products and providing strategic support for the achievement of the business objectives.Your new role As the Head of Quality Assurance and Central Laboratories, you will play a crucial role in maintaining high standards of quality andpliance within the organisationYou will develop, implement, and oversee quality assurance policies and procedures to ensurepliance with industry standards and regulations, lead the QA team, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure continuous improvement and adherence to quality protocols. You will manage the operations of central laboratories, ensuring all testing and analysis are conducted accurately and efficiently, ensuring all laboratory activitiesply with relevant regulatory requirements and quality standards. You will conduct regular audits and inspections to identify areas of nonpliance and implement corrective action and develop and implement quality control systems and procedures.Lead quality improvement initiatives and drive change to enhance laboratory processes and product quality.Stay updated with the latest developments and best practices in laboratory quality managementReview reports on quality performance and improvement initiativesEstablish and create positive relationships with relevant regulatory authorities.Manage budgets, team performance and take an active role in senior leadership initiatives. What you'll need to succeed Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Microbiology, or a related field.Minimum of 5 years of experience in quality assurance within the food manufacturing industry.Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and quality management systems (, HACCP, ISO 22000).Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.Strong leadership andmunication abilities.Attention to detail and amitment to excellenceWhat you'll get in return Opportunities for professional growth and development.A supportive and collaborative work environment.The chance to make a significant impact on the quality and safety of our products.
