This role is ideal for candidates seeking impact-driven work in adult social care services. Main Duties:Experience required working with AdultsReviewing care packages and provision of moving and handling equipment.Complete Care Act assessmentsConduct community assessments in a local authority setting, identifying needs and recommending both standard and specialist equipment.Plan and facilitate minor and major adaptations to enhance safety and functionality within clients’ homes.Collaborate with clients, families, and other professionals to create individualized support plansAssess individuals and carers with complex needs in the home environmentRecommend and coordinate equipment and adaptationsUndertake manual handling assessmentsWork in line with safeguarding procedures, promoting dignity and respectRequirements:Minimum 2 years post-qualified experiencePrevious experience as a community-based Occupational TherapistManual handling expertiseHCPC RegistrationEnhanced DBS/CRB (we can assist)Eligibility to work in the UKMust have own vehicle and full UK driving licenceBenefitHybrid working – occasional office visits onlyOngoing training and developmentFlexible work environmentFree on-site parking (where applicable)Why Join Our Agency?With over 10 years of experience in social care recruitment, Ackerman Pierce offers personalised service and consistent support.
