Thanks to the company's ongoing investment in innovative technology, you will also have the exciting opportunity to sell AI systems connected to the equipment. The successful Business Development Manager will be responsible for winning new business accounts in NHS and private hospitals throughout the region, selling to clinicians within ENT, gastroenterology, theatre, typically liaising with consultants, specialist nurses and theatre teams, as well as commercial contacts in procurement. You will also be supported by a dedicated clinical trainer. Full company and product training will be provided, and you will be joining at an exciting growth period for the company.THE COMPANY: This international organisation has a great heritage and reputation for manufacturing a range of devices, endoscopy equipment and consumables for use within ENT and gastrointestinal diagnostic procedures. The company nurture a culture of autonomy and collaboration, giving employees a great blend of freedom to manage their client base along with a supportive culture where everybody pulls in the same direction.For this role, we are looking for individuals who meet the following criteria:-Experience of selling capital equipment to hospitals and managing long, complex sales processes involving finance, procurement and clinical decision makersA track record of new business success and converting competitor accountsStable and successful track record of selling to the above decision makersDegree qualified, ideally in a medical / scientific related fieldFull driving licence with no more than 6 penalty pointsThe package for the Business Development ManagerBasic: £45,000 to £55,000 depending on experienceOTE: £15,000 plus additional commission to incentivise overperformanceCar: Fully expensed company car (Polestar, Tesla, VW etc, EV or hybrid options) or car allowance Benefits: healthcare, 6% pension, 10x life assurance, group income protection, health cash plan, lunch allowance, mobile, laptop, 25 days holiday + stats (increasing with service and ability to buy / sell 5 days)The Business Development Manager role covers:The East of England including: Nottingham, Leicester, Coventry, Northampton, Oxford, Stevenage, Cambridge, Peterborough, Milton Keynes, Luton, Ipswich and Norwich.
