Major Healthcare are currently seeking experienced and compassionate Healthcare Assistants to cover shifts in Care Homes throughout County Durham. Whether you’re looking for full-time hours or occasional shifts we have day and night positions available to suit your requirements.Benefits: Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay Flexible shift patterns to suit your lifestyle Supportive management team Key Responsibilities Ensuring the safety and wellbeing of residents Undertaking all aspects of personal care Assisting with food and fluid intake Helping residents mobilise safely around the home Reporting any concerns to the shift leader (Senior Carer, Nurse etc) Maintaining accurate documentation We are looking for staff who have the following skills and experience: At least 6 months paid experience working with vulnerable adults in Care Homes, Hospitals or community care within the UK Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to pay for a DBS) Excellent communication skills A genuine passion for providing high-quality person-centred care A full UK driving licence would be advantageous Please apply by submitting an up to date CV and one of our consultants will be in touch to discuss your experience further.
