Senior Underground Designer. As a Senior Designer, you will be supporting the lead designer to carry out the following tasks within allotted timelines and budgets.Coordinate, model in E3D and produce composite underground services drawing showing all underground services like drainage, firewater, potable water, cable trenches etc.Coordinate, model in E3D and produce drawing showing all paving, access roads, haul roads and service roads etc. REQUIREMENTSCivil and Structural Designer with a formal qualificationsMinimum experience of 10 yearsProficient in the use of E3D and be able to provide advice / Guidance to junior designersAbility to manage a team of designers located overseasCreation of project specific job notes, guides and training material to support consistent deliverablesOrganising schedules and resources within the team to achieve required deliverables to project deadlinesBreaking project tasks down to drawing level and estimating resources required to complete milestonesCompetence in the use Microsoft Office including Word, Excel and PowerPointAbility to work efficiently and effectively in identifying priorities and be agile in addressing emerging urgent issues as they ariseAbility to work both independently and in a multi-disciplinary team environmentAbility to work in an office based roleDESIREDStructural Catalogues and Specifications for Smart Plant 3D to add project specific joints, fittings and sectionsStructural Templates for Smart Plant 3DDraw Administration, adding project specific backing sheets, symbols, logos and stylesCreation of regular reports to track weight, MTO, etc. as requiredSkills or interest in programming and customisation using either PML or C#The NRL Group connect global companies with the right people to bring engineering projects to life.
