BASIC SALARY: Up to £60k
 
BENEFITS:
· Commission between £5k and £20k
· 20 days holiday, rising each year of employment

COMMUTABLE LOCATIONS: Plymouth, Exeter, Torquay, Taunton, Bridgewater, Barnstaple, Tavistock, Callington
 
JOB DESCRIPTION: Building Surveyor, Residential Surveyor - Consultancy, Property, Construction
 
Your main responsibility as our Surveyor will be to provide a full building surveying service to a range of clients across the residential and commercial sectors.
 
In addition to this, your main duties will include:
· Providing professional building surveying duties including building surveys, homebuyers' reports, valuations.   
· Identifying structural issues, defects, and potential risks, providing clear and concise reports for clients.
· Managng your workload effectively to meet deadlines and deliver high-quality results.
· Developing and maintaining an up-to-date awareness and knowledge of all necessary legislation.
 
PERSON SPECIFICATION: Building Surveyor, Residential Surveyor - Consultancy, Property, Construction
 
As our new Building Surveyor, it would be advantageous if you have worked on any of the following, level 2 and 3 homebuyers surveys, valuations, block management defects, building surveys and building pathology.
 
It is essential that you:
· Are RICS qualified or working towards qualification.
· Have a proven track record providing advice on a range of building related matters.
· Can confidently communicate both verbally and written.
· Hold a full UK driving licence.
· Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and the ability to provide clear, accurate reports.

It is highly likely you will have worked in any of the following roles and/or markets, and worked with the following products and/or services:  Building Surveyor, Property, Construction, RICS, Senior Building Surveyor, Building Consultancy, valuations, Maintenance, Refurbishment projects, Party wall act, expert witness, residential, project management.
