Senior Building Surveyor - Opportunity (Devon)

HAYS are currently working with a national, award-winning property consultancy, renowned for delivering high profile developments to a range of prestigious clients in the Devon area, seeking a Senior Building Surveyor to join the team on a permanent basis.

Based out of their recently refurbished Exeter office, you will have the ability to work from home with visits to the Exeter & Devon region for meetings and site visits when required.
**Your new role**
As a Senior Building Surveyor you will take end-to-end ownership of building projects varying in size and complexity, these include building re-purpose works, minor alterations, larger refurbishments, planned maintenance projects and extensions. You will undertakeinitial site survey & inspection, before completing required design work, liaising with consultants where required, appointing a contractor and supervising work on site, ensuring works are completed to the required spec, quality and with value for money inmind.
You will work collaboratively with the team at all levels in delivering projects, contributing to the supportive culture, by helping support Junior Surveyors on the team, with their aspirations of gaining further skills and experience through meaningful work.

In return you will receive a generous package consisting of a salary of £50,000, annual leave, contributory pension and flexible working arrangements - this role can be undertaken from home, with visits to the Devon & Exeter region for meetings and site visitswhen required.
