About The Role

As a Residential Support team member, you will provide a safe, supportive, and caring environment for students living within the school’s residential facilities. You will work closely with staff and students to promote positive behaviours, encourage personal development, and ensure the well-being of every child. This is a highly rewarding role where you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of young people.

Responsibilities Of a Residential Support

  • Provide daily care and supervision for students in a residential setting.
  • Support students with their personal development and emotional well-being.
  • Promote a safe and inclusive environment that fosters learning and growth.
  • Collaborate with teachers and staff to support students’ educational needs.
  • Assist with organising activities and routines within the residential facilities.

Requirements For a Residential Support

  • Experience in a similar Residential Support role or working with children/young people.
  • A caring and empathetic approach to working with students.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage challenging behaviours effectively.
  • A commitment to safeguarding and child protection.
