We are looking for a skilled Workshop Technician to join a Cambridge based company supporting RandD activities within their laboratories. You will work closely with other members of the technical team to provide key support and guidance.
Responsibilities also include maintaining and reporting problems with the operation of equipment, local safety within the laboratories and laboratory stock management, alongside supporting the general operation of the laboratories.
Requirements
* Educated to HNC/ HND level with a recognised apprenticeship in mechanical engineering or similar practical experience
* Sound IT and communication skills
* Practical experience in general engineering research and the ability to teach / train others
* Familiar with a wide range of workshop machinery and techniques
* Ability to manufacture parts to a high degree of precision and accuracy
* Experience with CNC machinery and manual machining
