Along with the opportunity to be mentored and coached by some of the smartest minds in the industry.
What you’ll do:
• Sign and implement enterprise-wide architecture solutions that are scalable, secure, and aligned with the companys strategic goals.
• Ensure that architecture solutions meet performance, security, scalability, and cost-effectiveness criteria.
• Leverage SABSA (Sherwood Applied Business Security Architecture) and TOGAF (The Open Group Architecture Framework) to structure and organize the development of business and technical architecture.
• Collaborate with the Information Security department to incorporate robust security principles into the architecture.
• Support the development of information security standards and reference architectures that align with Urenco’s cybersecurity policies and frameworks.
• Ensure all architectural designs meet or exceed security requirements to mitigate risks and support compliance initiatives.
• Support the Head of Digital Enterprise Architecture with the adoption of architecture standards, patterns, and best practices across the organization.
• Develop and maintain architectural roadmaps and future-state visions to guide ongoing projects and initiatives.
• Provide expert-level guidance and oversight in the development and deployment of architecture solutions, ensuring consistent alignment with business goals.
• Build strong relationships with key stakeholders across IT, Information Security, and business units to ensure alignment between technology and business objectives.
• Act as a key advisor on technology decisions and architecture strategies, particularly in relation to risk, security, and compliance.
• Influence and support the organization in adopting new technologies and aligning them with both security requirements and business goals.
What do you need to thrive in this role?
• Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Holder or working towards professional certifications in TOGAF and/or SABSA.
• At least 5 number of years of experience in enterprise architecture, with a focus on integrating security principles.
• Experience working in highly regulated environments (e.g., energy, finance, or critical infrastructure sectors).
• Proven experience in stakeholder management and leadership within enterprise environments.
• Working knowledge of regulations surrounding the nuclear industry.
• Working knowledge of three tier Operational Technology (OT) security architectures as per Purdue model.
• Certification or working towards certification in IEC 62443 would be advantageous.
• Knowledge and practical application of SABSA and TOGAF frameworks.
• Expertise in designing cloud, hybrid, and on-premise solutions with a focus on scalability, performance, security, and cost-effectiveness.
• Proficient in integration technologies, API management, and microservices architecture to support modern enterprise needs.
• Understanding of cybersecurity frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001) and how to integrate security principles into enterprise architecture.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud), containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes), and DevSecOps.
