Are you a dedicated and dedicated Psychology Teacher looking for a new role?

GSL Education are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Psychology Teacher to join a co-educational comprehensive secondary school in Redbridge. If you have a strong knowledge of psychology and a talent for engaging students in the subject, we want to hear from you

Responsibilities of the Psychology Teacher:

Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality psychology lessons that align with the national curriculum and exam specifications.
Foster a stimulating and inclusive learning environment where students can explore and engage with psychological theories and concepts.
Monitor student progress and provide feedback, helping them prepare for exams and assessments.
Support students in developing their analytical, critical thinking, and research skills.
Collaborate with colleagues to ensure effective delivery of the psychology curriculum and participate in professional development opportunities.
Communicate with parents and guardians to keep them informed about student progress and achievements.
Implement effective classroom management strategies to create a focused and respectful learning atmosphere.
Contribute to the development of teaching resources and lesson plans.
Requirements of the Psychology Teacher:

UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
Proven experience teaching psychology at the secondary level.
Strong knowledge of the psychology curriculum and exam requirements.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to engage and inspire students with creative lesson delivery.
Strong classroom management skills and the ability to maintain a positive learning environment.
Up-to-date knowledge of safeguarding and child protection practices.
Enhanced DBS registered to the update service (or be willing to apply for one).
