Key Responsibilities:
* Design Development: Create and develop electrical designs, layouts, and schematics using industry-standard tools (AutoCAD, Revit).
* Project Collaboration: Work closely with engineers, project managers, and other team members to ensure designs align with project requirements and deadlines.
* Compliance: Ensure all designs meet UK and international electrical standards, including BS 7671 and other relevant regulations.
* Documentation: Prepare detailed technical documentation, including wiring diagrams, cable schedules, and specifications.
* Problem-Solving: Identify and resolve design challenges, ensuring optimal functionality and efficiency.
* Site Support: Provide technical support during the installation, commissioning, and testing phases of projects.
* Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on the latest technologies and industry trends to incorporate innovative solutions into designs.
Qualifications & Skills:
* Educational Background:
* Electrical Engineering, Electrical Design, or a related field.
* Technical Expertise:
* Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Revit.
* Strong understanding of EV electrical systems, circuits, and components.
* Knowledge of Standards:
* Familiarity with UK regulations and standards, including BS 7671, IET Wiring Regulations, and relevant building codes.
* Experience:
* Previous experience in electrical design within construction, manufacturing, and renewable energy.
* Skills:
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
* Attention to detail and accuracy in design work.

* Current ECS Manager (Site Support – Design Engineer) Card
Desirable:
* Experience with EV systems.
* Knowledge of sustainable and energy-efficient design principles.
