We are a thriving equipment hire business based near Nottingham, expanding into a brand-new depot in Langley Mill. We pride ourselves on offering high-quality equipment and exceptional service to our clients, and now, we’re looking for a dedicated and skilled Bookkeeper to join our team and contribute to our continued success.
Role Overview:
As our Bookkeeper, you’ll play a pivotal role in managing the company’s financial records and supporting our operations team. This role will be based at our new depot in Langley Mill, providing an exciting opportunity to contribute to a growing location. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, organized, and able to work independently.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage invoicing, ensuring accuracy and timely issuance to clients.
* Oversee day-to-day debt recovery to maintain cash flow and support customer relations.
* Assist in the preparation of accounts and ensure financial records are up to date.
* Support with forecasting and financial planning.
* Coordinate with a third-party payroll provider to ensure payroll is processed accurately.
* Maintain accurate and organized financial records, providing updates as necessary.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
* Proven experience in bookkeeping, ideally within a similar industry.
* Proficiency in accounting software, particularly Microsoft Dynamics or Business Central, and MS Office (Excel, Word).
* Strong understanding of financial processes and ability to manage accounts independently.
* Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
* Ability to communicate effectively and liaise with internal teams and external partners.
* Flexible, adaptable, and able to work in a dynamic environment.
