Your Key Responsibilities:
* Supervise classes in the absence of the class teacher, ensuring students are on task and engaged in their learning.
* Follow pre-set lesson plans and ensure students complete the set work to the best of their ability.
* Maintain classroom discipline, following the school’s behaviour policy.
* Provide support to students with a range of needs, including those with additional learning requirements.
* Assist with administrative tasks such as marking and recording student progress where necessary.
* Contribute to maintaining a safe and positive learning environment.
* Liaise with teaching staff, senior leaders and support teams to ensure student needs are met.
To apply for this role, you must have the following:
* 6 months teaching experience working in the UK.
* A degree.
* Right To Work in the UK.
* 2 sufficient references.
* Creative, initiative approach to teaching.
* A desire to create a positive difference to pupils.
* A genuine interest in education and working with young children.
