Job Title: Senior Specialist Nurse Adviser – Occupational Health
Tripod Partners is seeking a dedicated Senior Specialist Nurse Adviser to join the Occupational Health team in London. This role offers the opportunity to deliver a proactive, evidence-based Occupational Health service within a dynamic NHS Trust.
Key Responsibilities
* Undertake clinical activities including case management, health surveillance, and attendance management assessments.
* Provide leadership and mentorship to Band 5 and Band 6 staff while overseeing the day-to-day running of the Occupational Health department.
* Deliver immunisation programmes, health promotion initiatives, and guidance on complex health issues.
* Manage return-to-work assessments, risk evaluations, and needle-stick injury follow-ups.
* Participate in the development and implementation of policies, SOPs, and quality audits.
* Lead on Wellbeing and health education initiatives as directed by the Principal Specialist Nurse Advisor.
Position Details
* Location: London
* Work Pattern: Monday–Friday, 37 hours per week
* Pay Rate: £31.00 per hour
* Contract Duration: 3 months with potential extensions
Requirements
* Registered Nurse with relevant Occupational Health qualification (Certificate/Diploma/BSc).
* Minimum 2 years of Occupational Health practice post-accreditation.
* Strong leadership, mentorship, and team management skills.
* Proficiency in using Microsoft Office for reporting and data management.
* Knowledge of health and safety legislation and current NHS Occupational Health practices.
