An ambitious and growing law firm is seeking an experienced Litigator/Claims Handler to join their talented team, based in Orpington. The Role
As a Litigator / Claims Handler, you will:
Manage a varied caseload, including liability disputes, repairs, credit hire, and small claims.
Oversee all stages of litigation, ensuring adherence to deadlines and quality standards.
Draft court documents, statements, and negotiate settlements with precision.
Collaborate with clients, courts, insurers, brokers, solicitors, and barristers.
Proactively allocate settlement funds and maintain a well-managed diary system.The Ideal Candidate
The successful Litigator / Claims Handler will have:
A minimum of 2 years' experience in case handling/file handling within the legal or insurance sectors.
In-depth knowledge of Civil Procedure Rules for RTA/Motor Insurance Claims (credit hire experience is desirable).
Strong communication, organisational, and multitasking abilities.
A proactive mindset, capable of delivering high-quality results both independently and in a team.Benefits
