Teaching Assistant - 1:1 Autism Support in Year 2 (Haringey)

Key Responsibilities for the Teaching Assistant:
Deliver focused 1:1 support to a Year 2 pupil with Autism, helping to build confidence and engagement.
Collaborate closely with the class teacher to ensure tailored strategies are implemented effectively.
Use your Teaching Assistant experience to manage emotional regulation and encourage positive behaviour.
Create a supportive and nurturing learning environment to promote personal development.
What the Ideal Teaching Assistant Brings:
Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant, specifically supporting children with Autism or additional needs.
A patient, confident, and proactive approach, with the ability to manage behaviour calmly and positively.
Strong communication skills and a desire to make a meaningful impact.
An Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to process one through Reeson Education.
