Shire Healthcare are recruiting for a Psychologist to join a Children's Hospice in Leicestershire.

The role will involve supporting hospital and community services across the East Midlands.

Role snapshot:

The candidate appointed will be joining an MDT and helping to mould the role within this brand new post.

You will hold clinical responsibilities such as:

* Completing specialist psychological assessments of children, young people and families.

* Supporting the Leadership Team with developing and implementing new Wellbeing initiatives across the service to improve aspects of clinical service.

* Delivering evidence based psychological interventions

* Monitoring clinical effectiveness and outcomes and make adaptations based on feedback.

Contract type – permanent, part-time

Hours – 22.5 hours per week

Salary - £50,952 FTE

Experience required:

Psychologists applying will have HCPC registration as a Psychologist along with experience working with children and young people presenting with complex needs. Previous work in palliative care is desirable however not essential.
