About the role:

We are excited to invite applications for the position of a part-time Key Stage 1 (KS1) Teacher to join a welcoming and thriving school in Barnet, London. Starting in February 2025, this role presents a fantastic opportunity for a passionate, skilled teacher to inspire young learners and contribute to the development of an energetic and motivated team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the KS1 curriculum and be eager to bring creative, engaging lessons to life. As a KS1 Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality lessons that challenge and inspire students, ensuring their learning is engaging, productive, and fun.

Application Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Experience teaching KS1 children.
• A creative and dynamic approach to teaching.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Passion for helping children reach their full potential.
• Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to apply for one).

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the KS1 curriculum.
• Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback to parents and carers.
• Support and manage classroom behavior in a positive and encouraging manner.
• Collaborate with colleagues to maintain a high standard of teaching across the school.
• Create an inclusive, nurturing, and engaging classroom environment for all students.
