JOB DETAILS:

Working on behalf of a local authority, JO recruitment has an urgent requirement for an experienced Revenues Officer. This is a fully remote for 5 weeks. This is a full time position, 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday paying £16.59 per hour PAYE; which is equivalent to approximately £32,000k salary or £22 per hour through an umbrella. To start middle December.

We are seeking a Revenues Officer to support its team in delivering high-quality revenue services. This short-term role is perfect for an experienced professional with a strong background in local government revenue collection and administration.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer and manage council tax and business rates accounts.

• Handle billing, payments, and customer queries efficiently.

• Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and council policies.

• Support debt recovery processes and liaise with stakeholders.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in revenues administration.

• Strong knowledge of council tax and business rates regulations.

• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work independently in a remote setting.
