Spencer Clarke Group is working in partnership with several well-established secondary schools in the Preston area to recruit full-time Cover Supervisors. This role is perfect for individuals with classroom experience, whether you have already led classes or are a teaching assistant looking to progress into leading lessons.

The Role:

As a Cover Supervisor, you will play a vital role in maintaining continuity in students' education during teacher absences. Your responsibilities will include:

Delivering pre-prepared lessons to classes across a range of subjects.
Managing classroom behaviour in line with school policies.
Providing support and guidance to students to ensure a positive learning environment.
Collaborating with teaching staff to contribute to the schools' success.

What We're Looking For:

To excel in this role, you should have:

Previous experience working in a classroom setting (essential).
Confidence in managing groups of students independently.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
A genuine enthusiasm for helping young people reach their potential.This position is ideal for:

Former Cover Supervisors or individuals with relevant classroom leadership experience.
Teaching Assistants seeking progression into more independent roles.
Graduates considering a career in education and looking to gain hands-on classroom experience.

APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS FOR SPENCER CLARKE GROUP

Your CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible and all employment breaks must be explained
You must have legal right to work in the UK
You must be willing to attend a registration interviewAll pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 14.3% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
