Ionic Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Permanent Site Manager based in Warrington – £40k + £5k Allowance (Bonus Scheme and Overtime Available)

About the Company

Join a highly regarded family-owned fabrication company with over four decades of industry experience. Specializing in steelwork contracts up to 1,000 tonnes, this company boasts a reputation for quality and reliability. With more than 25 site teams dedicated to erecting steelwork and fitting metalwork, they are looking for a skilled Site Manager to oversee operations across the North West.

The Role

As a Site Manager, you’ll be pivotal in ensuring the successful execution of steelwork projects while maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality, and efficiency. You’ll have the opportunity to work with a dedicated team and manage a variety of projects for a range of clients.

Key Responsibilities:

* Project Planning: Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and budgets, to ensure seamless execution.

* Client Liaison: Act as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring clear communication and fostering strong working relationships.

* Quality Assurance: Conduct risk assessments, safety inspections, and ensure all projects meet industry standards and company policies.

* Team Coordination: Collaborate with site-based teams and subcontractors to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget.

* Reporting: Provide regular updates and reports on project progress, finances, and any challenges to senior management.

Requirements:

* Strong knowledge of cost estimation, project planning, and site management principles.

* NVQ Level 5 or above preferred (but not essential).

* Valid CSCS Card (Black Card preferred).

* Expertise in producing crane lifting plans, RAMS, and health & safety documentation.

* Proven ability to lead site-based teams and subcontractors effectively.

* Allowance: Additional £5,000 annually, paid weekly.
