Projectsales Support Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Project/Sales Support Engineer to plan execute and complete engineering projects in the Cathelco/HEM Water Systems sector. This role includes coordinating with crossfunctional teams managing project resources ensuring timely delivery within budget and quality standards and providing expert technical support to project teams and clients. A strong understanding of commercial considerations is essential.
Key Responsibilities Project Planning and Management :Develop comprehensive project plans including scope schedule budget and resource allocation. Monitor project progress identify potential risks or issues and implement corrective actions to keep projects on track. Coordinate with various teams to ensure project objectives are met. Technical Oversight and Support :Provide technical guidance to project teams and clients including troubleshooting and resolving engineering challenges. Ensure compliance with engineering standards codes and regulations. Review and approve engineering drawings specifications and calculations. Serve as a technical expert for project teams and clients offering support to the Spares Department. Commercial Awareness :Understand the commercial impact of project decisions and implement costsaving strategies. Negotiate favorable terms with suppliers and contractors. Support business development by identifying new project opportunities and improving Spares Department processes. Client Communication :Maintain strong client relationships ensuring satisfaction and providing technical support as needed. Change Management :Manage changes to project scope schedule or budget assessing impacts and implementing adjustments. R&D Quality & Documentation :Assist in product development tasks to enhance the product portfolio. Maintain and improve core documentation to meet client requirements. Monitor and uphold product quality standards. Qualifications Education : Degree in engineering or a related field OR equivalent industry experience. Experience : Minimum 5 years of experience in project engineering or a similar role with a proven record of technical support and commercial awareness. Skills :Strong project management skills (planning scheduling budgeting). Technical expertise in engineering principles and practices. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong problemsolving and decisionmaking abilities. Commercial acumen and understanding of business operations. Evac has been a pioneer in sustainable technologies and solutions for decades.
