The role has been created due to an internal promotion, as the previous Financial Controller steps into an FD position.
It's an exciting time to join, with the company doubling in size over the past three years and ambitious plans for further growth through acquisitions and cutting-edge projects.
The focus of this role is on strengthening financial controls and driving process improvements.
Key responsibilities include: Preparing monthly management accounts, and annual statutory accounts, and contributing to budgets and forecasts.
Leading financial reporting and KPI analysis to provide clear insights into business performance.
Identifying and enhancing costing methodologies by collaborating cross-functionally to understand cost drivers.
Acting as a business partner to other departments, delivering financial coaching and supporting the achievement of company objectives.
Overseeing the annual external audit and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
This is a broad role where you'll have the opportunity to shape the finance function and influence the business's future direction whilst working with an experienced FD.
Hybrid working (Tuesday to Thursday in the office - early finish on a Friday)

Your Experience...
Fully Qualified ACCA, CIMA, ACA ideally with experience with Project-based Revenue (Construction, Manufacturing, Clinical Trials etc) Salary is £60,000 + 6k Car Allowance + 9% Employer Pension plus benefits, based in North Derbyshire.
