You will be working as a core member of the LittlewickMedical Centre Team supporting the delivering of a high-quality finance serviceto the practice.
Main duties of the job Youwill act as Finance Officer for the GP practice, providing high qualityfinancial support, preparing and maintaining accurate financial records in linewith the latest financial legalisation.
Ensuring that finance officerresponsibilities relating to income and expenditure and banking reconciliationsare undertaken, reporting to GP Partners to resolve financial queries andprovide management information and subject matter expertise to support them inrunning their Practice.
About us Littlewick Medical Centre is part of Erewash Health Partnership.Erewash Health Partnership (EHP) was established on 1 April 2018 and is a single GP Partnership comprising of seven constituent practices.
EHP employs approximately 250 people who workwithin the constituent practices and central team.
As well as providing high quality core primary careservices, EHP is the prime provider for delivering services to Erewash PrimaryCare Network (EPCN), as well as operating its own services for EHP Partners.
EHP is governed by the EHP Senior Leadership Teamreporting to the EHP Board which meets quarterly.
The Board currently consistsof one GP Partner from each constituent practice and the EHP Managing Partner& CEO, with other colleagues in attendance.EHP consists of 7 GP practices who are contractedto deliver primary care services to their registered patient population througha GMS or PMS contract.
The practicesrange in size from approximately 3,500 patients to 19,000 patients.

Ensuring that finance officer responsibilities relating to incomeand expenditure and banking reconciliations are undertaken, reporting to GPPartners to resolve financial queries and provide management information andsubject matter expertise to support them in running their Practice.
Person Specification Qualifications Essential Educated to degree level in relevant subject or equivalent level of experience AAT Level 2 (with commitment to qualify) / Level 3 2 years' experience of working in finance (accounts) Communication: skills for the communication of complex financial information Requiring developed interpersonal skills and oral / written communication skills Ability to pull together comprehensive draft financial reports and financial data Good working knowledge and experience of a financial ledger system Experience of working within a multi-disciplinary team and across organisational boundaries Desirable Previous experience in a similar position in the NHS Knowledge of financial legislation affecting the PCN Previous experience of supporting a budget setting process Good working knowledge and experience of Xero
