Senior Quantity Surveyor

We are looking for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our team based at Hinkley Point C, Somerset Location: Hinkley Point C, Somerset, Bridgewater Business Area: Natural Resources, Nuclear and Networks – Major Projects Contract: Full Time, Permanent Responsibilities As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will be working within the Major Projects team at HPC supporting the commercial functions delivery of a bespoke or part of a package of work on a nuclear licensed site.
Your day to day will include: Measure works carried out and reconcile to Target Cost.
Prepare monthly and final applications for payment.
Placing and subsequent financial management of sub-contract agreements.
Provide assistance, guidance and support to the operational teams in the areas of: Contract Compliance, The financial impact of decisions; Value maximisation/cost saving techniques; Procurement strategy Accurately monitor, forecast and report project cost and value.

Due to the nature of this role and the nature of the work at this site , you will be required to complete a Government Security Check (SC) Clearance / Counter Terrorism Check (CTC) , which takes place during/before your employment, and is conducted by the Cabinet Office's United Kingdom Security Vetting (UKSV) agency who set out a pre-requisite criteria including residency history.
