Job Description Job DescriptionThe Quality Shift inspector is responsible for monitoring and recording daily quality inspections, and ensures all products meet the requirements and standards agreed with our customers on a day-to-day basis.Duties•Responsible for visually checking the quality of product against the customer specification on an hourly basis.•Approve first off checks and samples for each machine.•To take regular samples throughout the shift ensuring all samples are labelled correctly with all required information.•Raw material inspection and testing•Weekly GMP audit as per schedule and check if corrective actions have been completed•Carry out QA training of new packing operators when and ensure any change in QA policies or procedures are trained out to all relevant employees.•Inspect and verify packing format against specification/colour cards, labels and paperwork are correct.•Check extruded sheet is correct specification, colour and labelled correctly.•Ensure colour cards are compiled, reviewed, and correspond with product.•Participate and oversee the sorting of any finished goods returned or put on hold (external and internal.
