Job Description As the Stock Manager you will be responsible for managing and maintaining service levels for a range of clients and products/SKU's, as well as large volumes of pallets of stock, whilst managing and developing a team.
This is 6 month fixed term contract.
Key Duties Managing a team of Stock Controllers Providing a high quality customer service to all internal and external customers Ensuring all client requirements, queries, claims and non-conformances are met in a timely manner and corrective actions are taken Manage team development tasks Planning, organising and conducting cyclic and annual stock counts making sure stock integrity is maintained, counts are reconciled and physical and systemic stock holdings match each period Reporting / Management of SLT Data for all Clients Provide KPI data and attend client review meetings Controlling costs through managing the pallet administration functions Producing accurate and timely departmental Key Performance Indicators Manage client invoicing activities Examining internal and external procedures to drive continuous improvement, amending and updating as required Ensuring BRCGS Standards are complied with Ensuring all Company policies and procedures are adhered to Ensuring holidays/sickness budgets are managed Oversee team Health and Safety Provide ad-hoc activities to clients on instruction Additional depot duties where reasonably required Qualifications Results driven Ability to work using own initiative Good knowledge of logistics and supply chain operations A good communicator who adapts to and promotes change Ability to delegate, coach and performance manage staff A flexible approach to working duties The ability to fit into and work in a close team environment Ability to work in a high speed, pressurized environment Experience of process and data analysis and problem solving Ability to resolve issues effectively and implement sustainable solutions Computer literate Additional Information As part of our drive to make Great Bear a great place to work.
