Haematology Consultant

We've been assigned by one of the best performing NHS Trusts in the UK to help them recruit a Consultant in Haematology with an interest in Red Cell Disorders on either a Substantive or a 12 month NHS Fixed Term basis.
The successful appointee will be joining an excellent Haematology department of 5 Consultants, participating in the on-call rota which is 1 in 5.
The appointee will be expected to perform various duties such as: Providing care and support of haematology in-patients.
Providing an advisory service for haematology problems arising in non-haematology in-patients.
Participating in authorization of haematology laboratory results including examination and reporting of abnormal blood films.
Performing Bone Marrow biopsies.
Maintaining high quality patient-centered care.
Active involvement in multidisciplinary team meetings and directorate clinical governance activity.
Teaching and training within the multidisciplinary service.
Our client is currently undergoing a new strategy and values which will boost this trust in the aftermath of COVID-19.
The trust's strategic points are quality, people, pathways, ease of use, and sustainability, which are all underpinned by the trust's values.
In addition, over the past few years, the trust has undergone one of the most complex service reconfigurations in the NHS – both to deadline and budget, under the banner of the Our Changing Hospitals programme, which saw an investment of £150 million to improve this trust.

10 PA's.
Additional PA's negotiable with On Call Commitments.
Outstanding nearby schools.
Must have GMC Registration.
Excellent area with unique geographical location close to London and Cambridge.
Full time or Part time both accepted.
