Salaried GP - Newly Qualified (PCN ARRS Role)We have an exciting opportunity for a newly qualified GP (within 2 years of qualification) to join our team as a PCN General Medical Practitioner. Initially on a fixed term contract until the end of March 2025 but will likely extend with continuation of ARRS funding.
You would be required to work from 2-6 sessions per week across Birkwood Medical Centre, Stirling Medical Centre, or Clee Medical Centre.

Job ResponsibilitiesClinical Duties: Provide face-to-face and telephone consultations for routine and urgent care.Manage patient care in surgery, including investigating and reviewing results, developing care plans, and making referrals to secondary care or other providers.Issue and sign repeat prescriptions, ensuring they align with national/local guidelines.Administer and handle patient-related queries, test results, referral letters, and other tasks in a timely manner.Record clear, contemporaneous consultation notes using S1 clinical system.Ensure safe, evidence-based, and cost-effective care, in line with Practice disease management protocols and NICE guidance.Independently prescribe medications within your scope of practice.Review and manage patient medications following appropriate policies and local clinical guidelines.Utilise other available clinical and support staff in delivering holistic and patient-centred care.Person SpecificationQualificationsGeneral Practice Experience: Newly qualified GP (within 2 years) or recently completed GP training.Must be fully registered with the General Medical Council.Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to make confident decisions.Ability to work within professional codes of conduct, ensuring safe and effective patient care.Ability to manage time, workload, and patient-related administration efficiently.Willingness to work across multiple practices and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.Experience with S1 preferred.Disclosure and Barring Service CheckThis post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and as such, it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service (formerly known as CRB) to check for any previous criminal convictions.
