Job summary We have an exciting opportunity for a newly qualified GP (within 2years of qualification) to join our team as a PCN General Medical Practitioner.Initially on a fixed term contract until the end of March 2025 but will belikely to extend with continuation of ARRS funding.You would be required to work from 2-6 sessions per week acrossBirkwood Medical Centre and Stirling Medical Centre or Clee Medical Centre.We are looking for 2 candidates in this role.

Conduct patient home visits (lowfrequency) Manage patient care in surgery,including investigating and reviewing results, developing care plans, andmaking referrals to secondary care or other providers.
o Issue and sign repeatprescriptions, ensuring they align with national/local guidelines.
Administer and handlepatient-related queries, test results, referral letters, and other tasks in atimely manner.
Record clear, contemporaneousconsultation notes using S1 clinical system.
Ensure safe, evidence-based, andcost-effective care, in line with Practice disease management protocols andNICE guidance.
Independently prescribemedications within your scope of practice.
Review and manage patientmedications following appropriate policies and local clinical guidelines.
Utilise other available clinicaland support staff in delivering a holistic and patient centred care.
Person Specification Qualifications Essential Required Skills and Qualifications: General Practice Experience: Newly qualified GP (within 2 years) or recently completed GP training.
Must be fully registered with the General Medical Council.
Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to make confident decisions.
Professional Conduct: Ability to work within professional codes of conduct, ensuring safe and effective patient care.
Organisational Skills: Ability to manage time, workload, and patient-related administration efficiently.
Team Player: Willingness to work across multiple practices and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
Desirable Clinical Systems Knowledge: Experience with S1 preferred.
