We're a fast-growing team looking for a talented marketing professional to join our Marketing team.
About ARCC At ARCC, we research, we design, we develop, we problem solve, we mentor, we build, and we continuously improve.
Based in Cambridge in the United Kingdom, we are a Research and Development centre invested in keeping engineering and design in the UK.
As well as designing and developing our own products and systems, we also provide assistance and mentoring to university graduates, and act as an incubator facility to assist start-ups in establishing and growing their business.
ARCC is a not-for-profit corporation owned by a team who have achieved great success, and now want to help others with the same vision and ambition realise their objectives here in the UK, rather than elsewhere.
We also design and develop bikes.
ARCC Bikes began following the success of our electric Intelligent Drive system, designed to transform standard bikes into e-bikes.
We have since gone on to design and develop our own sleek, lightweight town bikes as well as offer our electric conversion system for a range of classic bikes.
The Role The successful candidate will be responsible for creating a variety of content across social platforms, including videos, images, and graphics for aiding the team on any projects that may arise.
You'll proactively develop ideas and create content for our social platforms, with an eye to innovate at every opportunity.
The right candidate will be required to manage a variety of content and briefs.
You'll also be tasked with completing ad hoc editing and creative requests, whether it's writing copy, photoshopping images, creating videos or grabbing a camera to shoot.
You will also plan, populate and update the social media content calendar whilst working to grow the reach across all social media channels.
If you consider yourself to be an 'all-rounder' then this could be the job for you Responsibilities (including but not limited to) Managing the marketing for ARCC and ARCC Bikes Creating and implementing a marketing strategy for ARCC and ARCC Bikes Managing and updating the ARCC and ARCC Bikes websites Social media management for all ARCC and ARCC Bikes channels Managing SEO, PPC and all Google Ads / Analytics Creating and managing the internal employee newsletter Event planning and management Participation in, understanding, and sharing of knowledge about new and emerging social media tools, trends, and applications.
Generate content ideas.
Concepting videos, graphics, and other pieces of content for web and social Creation of creative collateral – booklets, banners, user guides etc.
Writing sharp, engaging copy for posts on all major social media channels Uploading of all content into relevant platforms and content management systems Offsite asset gathering (e.g., behind-the-scenes content gathering on sets/shoots, live tweeting from events).
This may include flexible, out-of-hours work.
Brand development Conducting social listening and reporting back to the team to inform future content.
Identifying and nurturing relationships with relevant social influencers for web and social Manage and update the existing website (Shopify Platform) Requirements Comfortable using Adobe tools (specifically Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator) Hands-on experience with social media management Outstanding multi-format writing skills and a keen eye for accuracy A passion for digital content and the value it can add.
Strong organisational skills, with the ability to multitask and turn briefs around quickly in a fast-paced environment.
Strong stake-holder management skills Desirable Understanding of SEO Experience of concepting and producing video content Comfortable using video editing software (Premier Pro) Comfortable with photography Good experience of nurturing client relationships Basic knowledge of web development using platforms such as Squarespace and Shopify Salary - Experience Dependant Onsite Working
