Maintenance Engineer

Job Title: Maintenance Engineer - (Days) | Location: Nottingham Shift Pattern: Days based role So whats it all about?
As our next Maintenance Engineer (Days), you will be resilient and adaptable due to the nature of the fast-paced environment you will be working within.
Using your own initiative will be key whilst also collaborating with the engineering team and other departments across the site.
Working with a team of skilled Engineers, you will be responsible for not only repairing issues with the bakery production lines but encouraged to implement positive ideas in the reliability of the machines moving forward.
You will be a vital member of the days maintenance team and will be instrumental in the diagnosing of mechanical faults within the factory.
Your remit will be to carry out essential machine maintenance to ensure the smooth running of the production line and limit downtime.
You will also carry out essential maintenance of the sites utilities and facilities.
You will be passionate about the role Engineers play in making improvements and how you can proactively influence situations instead of just being reactive.
In this role, you will ensure faults are found quickly and repaired efficiently.
You will be working a varied days shift for this role.
The Key Requirements Minimum NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in electrical or mechanical engineering Previous experience as a Maintenance Engineer within a manufacturing environment Able to demonstrate a strong work ethic We'll provide you with opportunities to learn new skills, grow and develop and we aim to provide our colleagues with a job for life We have many long-serving colleagues, some with over 30 years experience with us.
