Why not join our Electronic Monitoring service?What is "Electronic Monitoring"?Electronic Monitoring is the use of Radio Frequency technology to monitor an individual's compliance with an order imposed upon them by an issuing authority such as a Sheriff Court.Individuals who are subject to Electronic Monitor will wear a monitoring device commonly referred to as a "Tag" and have a further monitoring device installed within their premises.G4S, an allied universal company, is the Electronic Monitoring Service Provider for Scotland.
G4S instals the equipment, monitors individual's compliance and reports any non-compliance to the relevant authority.What does the role entail?We have an exciting opportunity for a Control Room Operator to join our team.
The role is fixed term for 1 year with the opportunity to become permanent after 1 year of continuous employment.
Full time and part time hours available, shift working, based at Duart House, Bellshill, Scotland ML4 3PR.
The role is to deliver high quality, professional monitoring in accordance with the policies and procedures as agreed with the Scottish Government.

This vetting will be at G4S expenseKey Responsibilities and Accountabilities for the Control Room Operator are:Point of contact for Monitored Person's who are subject to Electronic MonitoringMonitoring Compliance of Monitored Person's and reporting any incidents of non-compliance to the appropriate agency Liaising with various partner agencies such as Justice Social Work, Police Scotland, Hospitals and the Scottish Prison ServiceUse of google drive, google sheets and information management software to document actions and produce reportsMaking outbound calls to Monitored Person's and Partner Agencies as well as receiving incoming Calls The ideal candidate for the Control Room Operator will have the following Key Competencies;Acting ProfessionallyDelivering ObjectivesSupporting & Working with OthersDelivering Great Customer Service Skills and KnowledgeEssentialExcellent interpersonal and communication skillsAbility to remain calm, positive and confident in a pressurised environmentAbility to make decisions based on facts and information availableExcellent time management skills with the ability to prioritise own workloadFlexible working style DesirableAbility to use google drive systems such as google docs, sheets and slides.
Full UK driving licence.
Experience in a similar role.

Re-location costs will not be granted.
You must live within a reasonable commuting distance of the National Monitoring Centre in Bellshill.
