This is a permanent, part-time post of 30 hours per week, with a rotational shift pattern (including early, late, and weekend shifts).Please note the salary is Pro Rata for part time hours.
First Level Registered Nurse registered with the NMC or ODP registered with the HCPC is essential.The Royal Hospital for Children, part of NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde, is one of the largest paediatric teaching hospitals in Scotland, providing specialist care to children from across the country.
We are excited to advertise an opportunity for a Band 6 Theatre Recovery Practitioner to join our esteemed team.We are seeking a well-motivated and hardworking Paediatric or Adult trained Nurse or Operating Department Practitioner (ODP) to join our dynamic theatre recovery team.
The successful candidate will specialise in theatre recovery, leading a skilled team in providing exceptional care to paediatric patients post-surgery.
As part of the recovery team, you will collaborate with the wider theatre department to promote teamwork and ensure high-quality care.
Candidates must have prior experience in theatre recovery and demonstrate excellent leadership skills alongside a commitment to patient-centred care.Details on how to contact the Recruitment Service can be found within the Candidate Information Packs.

NHS Scotland is reducing their full time working week from 37.5 to 37 hours per week from 1 April 2024 but with no change in pay.
This reduction will also be applied pro rata for part time staff.
This advert and any subsequent offer/contract of employment therefore reflects the new working hours.
However, as not all service areas will be able to adopt the 37 hour working week immediately from 1 April 2024, you may be required to work up to an additional 30 minutes per week for a temporary period for which you would be paid until the service you are working in changes rosters or working patterns to accommodate the new reduced working week.
