Keeping SPH a welcoming and safe environment is no easy task, which is why the role of Housekeeping Assistant is crucially important to our charity.We are keen to recruit those that have a strong interest in working in adult care services and a desire to make a difference to the vulnerable adults we support; so if you are compassionate, hardworking and an excellent team player we hope to hear from youWe are offering this opportunity to join our dedicated team for 20 hours per week (5 x 4-hour shifts over 7 days).Job OpportunityAs Housekeeping Assistant at Strode Park House you will:Ensure that the resident's personal space is kept in line with the personal choices they express and meets health and safety obligationsBe sensitive to the privacy and individual needs of residentsClean bathrooms, bedrooms and communal areas to a high standard, ensuring compliance with infection control proceduresBe able to cover our other sites including Canterbury and Faversham, if necessaryAs a Strode Park Foundation colleague, you will get comprehensive support from day one and receive training and development opportunities to develop your skills.Strode Park House is a residential home with nursing care for 55 adults with physical disabilities and complex needs in Herne, Kent. We've been delivering care since 1946, and this residential home is where it all started.The team at Strode Park House ensures our residents live in a safe and secure environment; each person's individual wellbeing, dignity and choice is vitally important within the community of residents who live at or come for a short break.
