We are looking for a care assistant to join our first class team of carers.

Kendal House is a lovely 21 bedroomed care home in the centre of Whitley Bay with an excellent reputation for providing person centred care. We are looking for a dedicated carer to continue the provision of high standard care to our residents.

**Duties**

*Assist clients with personal care tasks, such as bathing, grooming, and dressing

*Help with meal preparation and feeding

*Perform light housekeeping duties, including laundry, cleaning and tidying up client's living space

*Provide companionship and emotional support to clients

*Accompany clients to appointments and outings

**Requirements**:
*Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not essential

*Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

*Compassionate and patient demeanour

*Ability to follow instructions and work independently
- Ability to pass a background check
- Level 2 Health and Social Care OR Care Certificate

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: £11.50-£11.75 per hour

Expected hours: 18 - 36 per week
